Welcome back to those who have been before. Welcome to those who are about to go for the first time.

Can I just reiterate that you need pre-approval for the Visa Waiver. Please do it this week if you have not already done so. It takes a few days to process. It is free. Do not use any sites that say they have a charge.

The Jazz Fest Poster

March 24, 2009 · Leave a Comment

An important part of Jazz Fest is the annual poster created especially for the event. It is a great souvenir and usually appreciates in value – even the US$69 version which is the one most of us buy.  This year’s subject is Allen Toussaint. I also like to buy the Congo Square poster.

You can line up when you get to Jazz Fest and mail the poster home from the Post Office on the grounds near the second main stage (usually about US$20) or order one online (which is what I do these days). The poster will be sent as soon as Jazz Fest is over. I have found the service to be reliable.
